I'm looking for an accessible program that I can use to convert all of my rtf files to txt at once. Any suggestions?
Okay, I know there are conversion programs out there, but I'm not sure on accessibility. Otherwise, you might have to do each file, bring it up and save with the .txt extension and that should work for each individually.
You can try this

Free trial, I believe, and comand line functionality so you can use it in dos.
Awesome! I'll definitely try it. Actually, I'm curious about something. When I save with Wordpad, it has "text document" and "text document ms-dos format". What is the difference?
I believe the difference is in the line breaks. I think - but can't be positive - that Text Format will form line breaks where the window wrapped the RTF and not just where you pressed enter in the document, whereas DOS format only does line breaks at the hard return. This is a guess based on the days of Write in Windows 3.11.only
I haven't needed to do those txt to rtf conversions, because of the computer problems I've been having lately, but that site does look very interesting. Actually, what I need now, is a wpd to txt or rtf converter, so I can go between Wordperfect 5.1 and NotePad or Wordpad. I've actually got WP10 on this machine here, so I might check that out if nothing else. But the function keys aren't working on this keyboard, so the only way for me to exit it is to shut down the computer. Then again, maybe WP10 isn't accessible and doesn't work with the 5.1 hotkeys. I'm not sure.
